Troubleshooting Part 6: Benchmark Troubleshooting Tool

In this last installment of our volatile organic compound (VOC) analysis troubleshooting series, the benchmark test will be covered. This benchmark test is available in the Teledyne Tekmar TekLink software tools menu. The tool allows for full electromechanical testing, including valving, heaters, vial handling systems, liquid delivery system, inputs and outputs.

With today’s blog, let’s get to know the employees of Teledyne Tekmar. The next person I would like to introduce you to is Amy Nutter.
Amy is the VOC Technical Product Specialist at Teledyne Tekmar. Currently, she is focused on fostering relationships with OEM partners by developing applications and webinars for the Purge and Trap product line. She also provides customer application support. Amy has been with Teledyne Tekmar for 5 years. She was previously the VOC Applications Chemist for the Purge and Trap product line.

With today’s blog, I thought maybe we could go down another direction and get to know the employees of Teledyne Tekmar/Leeman Labs. The first person I would like to introduce you to is Tyler Trent.
Tyler is the Elemental Product Marketing Manager for Teledyne Tekmar and Leeman Labs. He oversees the TOC, ICP and Hg product lines. Tyler is entering his 12th year at Teledyne. Over the 12 years he has cover a wide range of roles.
Tyler was hired right out of college and has held the following positions: Application Chemist, Application Sales Specialist, Europe Middle East, and Africa Sales Manager and now his most recent role of Elemental Product Marketing Manager.

Teledyne Tekmar Instruments Testing Cincinnati Water after West Virginia MCHM Leak

When a NBC Nightly News story showed our instruments preparing water samples after the recent 4-methylcyclohexane methanol (MCHM) contamination of West Virginia drinking water, we felt like heroes, and yes, maybe a bit like parents. There was our very own Stratum Purge and Trap Concentrator and AQUATek 70 Vial Autosampler at work in Cincinnati’s Richard Miller Water Treatment Plant.
